Marilyn Monroe Martini
When I think of martinis, I always think of the more fashionable times of Sinatra, foxtrots, and the lounge culture. There is no woman that epitomizes that era quite like Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn was all about the sex appeal, the song, and the girly drink. In particular, Marilyn loved champagne. That is why most drinks that bear her name have this as the central ingredient of t
he drink. This martini is no different. It’s fun, lively, and should be brought out in the party setting. Think of Fabulous@50 when you drink one of these.
Ingredients
4 oz Champagne
1 oz Apple Brandy
1 tsp grenadine syrup
Instructions
Pour all ingredients into a champagne saucer or martini glass. Garnish with 2 cherries.
Lemon Burst Martini
Limoncello is a lemon liqueur from Italy. Make a pitcher ahead of time so it is ready for guests when they arrive. A delicious non-alcoholic version can be made with three parts lemonade, one part cranberry juice and a dash of grenadine.

1 cup vodka
1/2 cup Limoncello
2 cups lemonade
1 cup raspberries
1 cup blueberries or blackberries
2 star fruit, cut into 1/2-inch slices
Place vodka, Limoncello and lemonade in a pitcher and chill in the refrigerator.
To serve, place a few berries and a slice of star fruit in each martini glass and pour in a scant 1/2 cup martini mixture. (You can also put a small cut into each slice of star fruit and hang it over the edge of each glass.)

2 cups orange juice (freshly squeezed, preferably)
1 cup ice
In a pitcher, combine vodka, schnapps and orange juice. Stir well. Refrigerate until ready to pour. Add ice and stir for one minute.

1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cup ice cubes
Peel mango and dice flesh. You should have about 2 cups. Puree in a blender.
