Boots and Ballads... a Backyard Campfire Sing-Along Social

Kick off Stampede season with an easygoing women’s gathering under the summer sky!

Join us in my backyard in SW Calgary for Boots and Ballads, a relaxed campfire-style sing-along social filled with music, laughter, connection, and a little cowgirl spirit. Since it’s the start of Stampede, feel free to wear your favourite western-inspired outfit — boots, denim, fringe, hats, or whatever makes you feel Stampede-fabulous.

We’re thrilled to have Sandy D’Acey in town to lead us in song and treat us to her incredible voice. Bring a guitar or instrument if you’d like to join in, or simply come, listen, sing along, and soak up the atmosphere.

This is an after-dinner gathering, so please bring your own beverage. Snacks to share are welcome. Lawn chairs are also welcome, although extra seating will be available.

Dress for the weather and bring a cozy layer, as Calgary evenings can cool down once the sun goes down.
